I guess the only way to decide which instrument to learn is to go for it - take a few lessons on each instrument and feel it out.
There is probably a better solution to your interesting dilemma the my anwer, but it will have to come from someone with experience playing each of the instruments you have mentioned.
Hope you will find the one you really love.

Are you an elmentary student, junior high, high school, or an adult. MY answer would vary according to your age level. Are you wanting to learn just to play around the house for your own enjoyment or are you intersted in being part of a performing group?
Give me some more infi, and I can give you a more informed opinion. Thanks

By the way, nobody can possible tell you which instrument to play as music appreciation is a very personal thing.

Playing cello or flute will give the benifits of playing with a group, and the benifits of that. Without knowing some physical characteristics (male-female, short-tall, big framed-small framed, ) it's still gonna be hard to advise you what to play. Get with your Mom and a music teacher and talk this out with them.
